The convenors of the Namibian Local Content Conference & Exhibition are proud to present NLCC2026.

eing held in Windhoek this year, the week-long 3rd edition of the flagship event is being held under the theme: “Offshore Technology Innovation as a pathway to Local Content Development.” NLCC’s objective remains is to empower local businesses, foster innovation and uphold the highest global industry standards.

Our mission remains to being the preferred platform dedicated to creating inclusive inroads that ensure sustainable cross-sector growth in Namibia’s Oil & Gas, Mining and Green Hydrogen sectors.

ABOUT US

Maria Mbudhi is the founder of the Namibia Local Content Conference and Exhibition, affectionately called “NLCC”, a pioneering initiative that promotes inclusive economic participation and sustainable development across Namibia’s industries. She is also a co-founding director of WOGEN (Women in Oil and Gas Energy Network), an organization dedicated to advancing women’s
leadership and representation in the energy sector.
Maria previously served as Deputy Country Manager for Rhino Resources, where she played a strategic role in advancing the company’s operations within Namibia’s oil and gas sector. Her leadership focused on stakeholder engagement, regulatory compliance, and promoting local participation in energy development. She also held a key position as Chair for Public Affairs at the Namibia Petroleum Operators Association (NAMPOA), where she worked to strengthen collaboration among industry stakeholders and advocate for policies that support responsible resource development and local capacity building.
Her background in corporate leadership, policy advocacy, and gender inclusion laid the foundation for her current work in economic empowerment. Through the Namibia Local Content Conference (NLCC), Maria fosters dialogue among government, industry, and communities to strengthen local supply chains and promote equitable growth.
